Assignment:

  1. Open the “C.R.A.P. Principles” InDesign document we created on Friday.
  2. Today we will focus on the principle of Repetition (repeating elements of design throughout the document). Create a new text box and write at least one complete sentence in your own words about what Repetition means (as it pertains to design), then use images (or text) to demonstrate what Repetition looks like.
  3. Leave room on your page for the last principle! We’ll finish up with Contrast tomorrow!
  4. Remember the Principles of Design (C.R.A.P.): Contrast, Repetition, Alignment, and Proximity, and let them guide all your decisions as you build this page! Remember to create a strong focal point, and a strong eyeflow using the principles!
  5. Save this assignment as “Your Name – CRAP Principles”. We will continue to work with this document tomorrow.
  6. We will hand in this assignment to the Assignment Post titled “Check for Understanding – Principles of C.R.A.P.” in your Google Classroom page on Thursday.
