ADOBE.COM ACCOUNTS & THE ADOBE SUITE – FALL 2025

Objective:

  • I can log into my new account on Adobe.com using my student.phoenixunion.org email address so that I can successfully access the Adobe Suite Apps throughout the school year.

Assignment:

  • An Adobe account has been created with your student.phoenxiunion.org email address. This will grant you access to the entire Adobe Creative Cloud collection of apps, no matter what computer you sign into.
  • An Adobe login should appear when you first log in. If it does not, click on the Creative Cloud icon in the upper left corner, next to the system clock. It looks a bit like a white pretzel.
  • To test your access, click on your Launchpad (the little icon with nine colorful squares on the left side of the dock) and click on Adobe InDesign
  • When the Adobe ID login window appears, enter your student.phoenixunion.org email address, and your laptop password to log in.
  • You should now be able to access all of the Adobe apps installed on the computers in our department. We will be working with several of these apps throughout the school year, starting with Adobe InDesign on Monday.

INTRO TO CGD FALL 2025 – GETTING TO KNOW THE CLASSROOM

Objective:

  • I can discover more about the classroom by completing an icebreaker activity to help build a fun and collaborative working environment.

Assignment:

  1. Today, we’re going to conduct a “Scavenger Hunt” to get to know the classroom. There’a a lot of useful stuff around here, and things you might need to know as you begin your journey into Computer Graphic Design!
  2. Follow the instructions on the Room Map provided to discover the secrets of Room 225 as you meet your classmates and find your way around the classroom!
  3. No matter where you’re sitting in the classroom, it’s impossible to see everything on the list. So get up and move around!
  4. You can work with a partner, but only one of you can win the “fabulous” prize for finding all the items first! Think carefully before you share your answers!
  5. Can you find all the items and win the “fabulous” prize? Do your best, and good luck!
