InDesign Pre-Test 2025

Welcome to our InDesign unit! Starting Monday we will begin learning about the Adobe software suite, and the properties of the InDesign page layout software. But before we can get started, it’s helpful for me to know how much you already know about Design and design software.

Objective:
I can complete the InDesign pre-test by logging into Google Classroom and answering the pre-test questions to the best of my ability, so that I can see how much I know about InDesign, and how much I have to learn.

Assignment:

  • Visit my Google Classroom site and take the InDesign pre-test.
  • Remember, this is a pre-test, so do your best to answer all the questions, but don’t worry if you don’t have all the answers. That’s what you’re here to learn.
  • Submit your test answers before the end of the class period today.
  • Make sure you mark the assignment as “Done” when you finish to confirm that you took the test.
  • Once you have completed the pre-test, the rest of the time is yours. Use it wisely, and enjoy a peaceful denouement (Look it up!) to the next-to-last-day of the 2nd week of school!

COMPUTER GRAPHIC DESIGN 1-2: SEMESTER EXAM FALL 2024 REVIEW

Objective:

I can demonstrate my understanding of Graphic Design principles and software by completing the final comprehensive exam.

Assignment:

  • Click the Google Classroom link and log in with your Haydenmagnet.org email address.
  • You will find a Class Announcement titled “Computer Graphic Design 1-2 Semester Exam Study Guide“. Attached, you will find a study guide that you may use to review.
  • The Final Exam will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 17th for 2nd Period and Wednesday, Dec. 18th for 7th Period.
  • The exam will be primarily multiple choice, with dropdown selections. Please read and follow the instructions in each section of the exam.
  • This will be a comprehensive 1st Semster exam, covering the Principles of Design, Adobe Indesign and Adobe Photoshop.
  • The exam will be an “open resource” exam, meaning you will be able to use any materials accessible on your computer. This includes any websites, past assignments, completed projects, installed applications, or notes you may have taken.
  • You may not, however, collaborate with your classmates; You will be asked to please remain silent until everyone has completed the exam.
  • Be advised that you will have eighty minutes to complete the test, so looking up each answer individually would be inadvisable. You must submit your test answers before the end of the class period.
  • Study, be prepared, and do your best on this week’s Semester Exam!
