THE PRINCIPLES OF C.R.A.P. Spring 2021: CONTRAST

Objective:

I can name the Principles of Design and describe what they mean by correctly responding to questions in a check for understanding form so I can effectively identify when these principles are (or are not) being used in a published work.

Assignment:

  1. Today we will focus on the principle of Contrast (making design elements different so they stand out and attract attention).
  2. As before, we will look at examples of what Contrast means (as it pertains to design), and learn how to format images (or text) to make them stand out and attract a reader’s attention.
  3. As of today, we’re done with the Principles of C.R.A.P. discussions, and I’ll give you a chance to practice your C.R.A.P. with a new activity on Wednesday!
  4. Complete the Google Form titled “Contrast Chapter Questions” in today’s Google Classroom post to show that you understand what we read today.

  2. As before, we will look at examples of what Repetition means (as it pertains to design), and learn how to arrange images (or text) to use Repetition to make our documents easier to read and understand.
  3. We’ll finish up with Contrast tomorrow!
  4. Complete the Google Form titled “Repetition Chapter Questions” in today’s Google Classroom post to show that you understand what we read today.
