Assignment:

  1. Today I’ll walk you through the process of logging in to the computer for the first time.
  2. Don’t forget your signed Technology Agreements are due today! Make sure you get those turned in to me before you leave class.
  3. Tomorrow, we’ll begin our introduction to the Macintosh operating system, so make sure you give me your signed Technology Agreement and get logged in today so you’re ready for this week’s lessons.

THE GROWTH MINDSET – FALL 2024

Objective:

I can participate in a collaborative activity to learn more about the Growth Mindset and how it can help me.

Assignment:

Part 1:

  1. You will need a copy of the assignment worksheet distributed in class today to complete today’s activity.
  2. Write your name on the top of the paper, and in the square in the center.
    *NOTE* DO NOT write your name in the four regular squares.
  3. We will watch the first video together: Video #1:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1CHPnZfFmU
  4. Pass your paper to the right one person. (If at the end of the row, bring your paper to the beginning of the row). 
  5. Write your name in box 1 on your new paper and answer the question.

Part 2:

  1. We will watch the second video together: Video #2:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUWn_TJTrnU
  2. Pass your paper to the right one person. (If at the end of the row, bring your paper to the beginning of the row).
  3. Writes your name in box 2 and answer the question.
  4. After answering the question in box 2, pass your paper to the right one person.
  5. When you receive a new paper, write your name in box 3 and answer the question.

Part 3:

  1. We will watch the third video together: Video #3:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=133&v=ElVUqv0v1EE 
  2. Pass your paper to the right one person.
  3. On the new paper, writes your name in box 4 and answer the question.
  4. Return the paper to the original owner!

Wrap-Up:

  1. When you get your paper back, look over the answers on your paper.
  2. We will discuss what is written and what we learned.
  3. Following the discussion, answer the final question in the middle.

As you watch this video, see if you can identify five attributes of personal qualities that successful competitors have.
