Welcome to my classroom website for Computer Graphic Design 1-2! This website will be your first stop for all classroom assignments, announcements and materials pertaining to the class.

  1. Take a look around! I’ll explain everything here today.
  2. I’ll give you an overview of how to use Microsoft Teams for this and all of your other classes. I’ll even share a few tips and tricks that your other classes might not have introduced you to!
  3. We’re also going to do one of those “getting to know you” activities. I know, you’re probably going to do something like this in every class today. Don’t worry, I’ll do my best to make it fun.
  4. Join the Microsoft Teams meeting via the invitation that I sent you, and let’s get started! Here’s to the start of what promises to be a great year! I can’t wait to meet you all virtually, and let’s look forward to a time when I can greet you in person again!

Assignment:

  • Open a Chrome browser and visit the Adobe.com website.
  • Click the grey Sign In link in the upper right corner to get to the “Sign In” page.
  • Under the blue “Sign In” button, where it says “Not a member yet?” click the blue “Get an Adobe ID” link.
  • Enter your information in the spaces provided. Please use your correct first and last name (no nicknames), your haydenmagnet.org email address, and your correct date of birth.
  • You may use any password you like, but make sure it is one you can remember, as I am unable to reset these passwords for you. (You may wish to use your Mac login password, to make it easier to remember.)

  • Notify me once you have successfully created your Adobe ID, and I will add it to the school’s list of authorized users. This will grant you access to the entire Adobe Suite of apps, no matter what computer you sign into.
  • To test your access, click on your Launchpad (the little rocketship in the dock) and click on Adobe InDesign CC 2019.
  • When the Adobe ID login window appears, enter your haydenmagnet.org email address, and the password you created to log in.
  • You should now be able to access all of the Adobe apps installed on the computers in our department. We will be working with several of these apps throughout the school year, starting with Adobe InDesign on Monday.
  • If you have any questions, my email address is mi.marmolejo@haydenmagnet.org.
