Raster Graphics 2020 – Retouching Blemishes w/ Photopea

Objective:

I can use the image repair tools in Photopea to repair portions of an image.

Assignment:

Find the picture of the old man below. Click on him to view the full size image and drag the picture to your Desktop. Open the image in Photopea, and use the Spot Repair Brush Tool, the Repair Brush Tool, and the Patch Tool discussed in class to remove the unsightly moles and blemishes from the old man’s face. For added challenge, see if you can use the tools to fix his bad eye! Restore his youth! Save your file as “YOURNAME Bluebeard.jpg” and place a copy in today’s post on the Google Classroom page.

  2. Click on the Google Form at the bottom of the most recent Assignment Post titled “CGD1 – Semester Exam 2019”.
  3. Please put away all notes, study guides and other materials before starting the quiz.
  4. This is an “open online resource” exam, meaning you may use any materials accessible on your computer. You may not use any printed materials, nor may you collaborate with your classmates.
  5. Please remain silent until everyone has completed the quiz.
  6. The exam contains six sections of multiple choice questions based on visual examples. Please carefully read all instructions and select the best answer from the available choices for each question.
  7. You have seventy-seven minutes to complete the test. Be sure to submit your test answers before the end of the class period today.
