- Start a new document in Illustrator CC 2017 using the Welcome screen.
- Adjust settings in the New Document dialog box.
- Establish multiple artboards.

Assignment:
Use the document we created yesterday titled “Illustrator Week 1”. We will use this document throughout this week and next week to practice with the basic drawing tools.
Differentiate between and correctly use the Brush and Blob Brush tools by drawing a face with the Brush tool (two eyes, a nose, a mouth and a head) on the upper left artboard, then drawing a face with the Blob Brush tool on the same artboard. Choose appropriate brush strokes and sizes, and compare how the brushstrokes are different. Pay particular attention to the special path-merging properties of the Blob Brush. Save your document, and we will continue working on this document tomorrow.
